JUST IN CASE

In 1876, François Van Roy founded a company manufacturing work clothes. After World War One his son Otto established a weaving mill, and then opened a production workshop making men shirts after World World Two. In 1965 François' grandson Robrecht Van Roy and his wife Vic Meersschaut decided to concentrate on the production of ladies’ blouses and men’s shirts. In 1997 the firm became a public limited company under the name V.R. Embroidery (VRE).
In 1999 Robrecht’s children Steven and Els took over as active partners. They started working with Antwerp based designers Vicky Vinck and Katrien Strijbol to develop a full collection for women, which resulted in the creation of Just in Case.
Vicky and Katrien create sophisticated collections for women. Among the brand's clients you will find famous and not so famous women, yet all strong characters.
The collection explores the boundaries of former fashion styles with romantic and fashionable details that Vicky and Katrien create themselves. Their unique style makes the collection recognisable and is regarded as highly fashionable. Women wearing Just In Case will not go unnoticed and are often complimented on what they are wearing.
